FREE EVENTS: Santa Is Coming to Town Next Week!

PICKAWAY – Santa is coming to town on November 30- December 2.  We have made up a master list of events so you can keep them in order and enjoy each and every event going on.

NOVEMBER 30th 7 pm: OCU Holiday event with FIREWORKS! 

Celebrate the Holidays at OCU with Fireworks and Family Fun!

Bring your family to celebrate the Christmas holiday season on November 30 at 7 p.m. at Ohio Christian University’s Maxwell Center at 1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, 43113.

Join in the festivities: Sing carols around the lighted Christmas tree and share in the good cheer!

After watching awesome fireworks displays, everyone is welcomed into Maxwell Center for hot chocolate, cookie decorating, and visits with Santa Claus.

Free parking is available at the Maxwell Center on the University’s campus.

December 1st has a ton of free great events all around Pickaway County

Circleville events start at 11 in Downtown Circleville a the Hometown Headquarters located besides Lindseys Bakery.  Followed by a Christmas Parade and the arrival of Santa Clause at 1pm.  This will also be followed by a Downtown Window walk for those who want to enjoy the stain glass windows in Circleville’s Historic Downtown churches.  OCU will offer a Festival of Carols at 6 pm on Campus also.


The Village of Williamsport will have Christmas in the Park also on December 1 at 6-7 pm at the community square.  They are offering free cookies, hot chocolate, crafts, and Santa!  This will follow with the 4th annual tree lighting.

December 2 in Circleville the 1st annual tree lighting will take place in downtown Circleville at the Pumpkin park from 4:30-6pm. The City of Circleville along with the DBA, Pickaway Chamber of Commerce, and The Circleville Pumpkin Show, will be hosting the 1st annual Circleville Christmas Tree Lighting, “Santa in the Park.”


The Holiday meet and greet will take place in the new Pumpkin Park in downtown Circleville. According to Chamber of Commerce they will have cookies, hot chocolate, free pics with Santa, a tree lighting and local music with possible caroling.  They will have about 10-12 of the lights used in previous years at OCU at the park, along with the tree lighting ceremony.

The City of Ashville will have a all day celebration from 12-6 “Crafts in the Park” event.  They will have a visit from Santa, Hot chocolate, and the tree lighting is at 6 pm.
