OHIO – The first super moon of the month called the Pink moon will happen on April 26, sadly just because its called the pink moon that doesn’t mean its really pink.
Supermoons are when the moon passes closest to the earth making it larger in the sky, this occurs several times a year and can effect ocean tides.
According to timeanddate.com you will see the pink moon around 11:33 EDT here in Ohio.
The Pink moon is named for the early spring time blooms, being pink in nature.
