A fire broke out in Southern Point Community located off 104 in Northern Pickaway County.
A 911 call came into Pickaway Sheriffs office at approximately 9 am with a report of a structure fire with smoke and fire showing at 9044 Independence Ave in Orient Ohio.
According to Scioto Township acting Chief Trexler the Fire was mostly located in the front left quadrant of the home, and was quickly subdued after accessing the front door and back windows of the home. No one was in the home when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported to fire department or staff.
Four departments responded to the structure fire Scioto, Pleasantville, Harrison, and Jackson fire. The fire is under investigation on cause by fire Marshall. We will update this post with findings.
