Fairfield Sheriff Week in Review Incidents for Week of December 2

FAIRFIELD – Top incidents that occured last week in Fairfield county Sheriff reports.

*Auto accident- 9420 Lancaster-Kirkersville Rd. Vehicle slid off the roadway. Driver was transported to the hospital due to an unrelated medical issue and vehicle was towed.
*Shift began with staffing additional units at Fairfield Union HS and Millersport HS as students arrived due to threats being posted via “social media”.
No creditable leads RE Millersport HS; leads were developed for the Fairfield Union HS threats which lead to a student confessing.
*CW had a male subject OD and was administered NARCAN by family members. Male subject fled the residence prior to EMS/FCSO arrival.
*B&E Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd SW, Hocking Twp., subjects gained entry by breaking a side window. Items stolen: TV’s, Laptops.
*Larceny, Laurel Rd, Caller advised his wallet was stolen.
Accident, Coonpath/Lancaster-Thornville, 2 car possible injury. At fault was unable to be determined and sent for review to determine fault.
*Stolen Vehicle, Angle St, Stolen Pop-up camper from storage units.
*Units responded to Lancaster-Kirkersville Rd/Orchard Dr on an Amazon delivery driver who went off the side of the road and vehicle almost went over an embankment. The driver had to stay in the vehicle to balance it so the vehicle would not go over the embankment. Units arrived and were unable to free the driver and had to also stand on the vehicle to keep it balanced until assistance from the fire department came and secured the vehicle and was able to pull it out.
Dec. 3, 2019
*Theft, Logan-Lancaster Rd. /Wilson Ln., Victim advised that her vehicle was broke down at this location in August. She stated that she had a prescription medication stolen from her unlocked vehicle while there. She advised that she needed a report for her doctor’s office.
*Stolen vehicle from Marie Ln. Caller advises their business rental vehicle was left while they took a client’s vehicle for work. Upon return discovered their vehicle was stolen. Vehicle entered into LEADS.
Dec. 4, 2019
*Burglary, 6000 block of Hopewell Church Rd., Caller stated forced entry to his garage and a 4-wheeler and mini-bike taken.
*Stolen Vehicle: 6400 block of Hopewell Church Rd., taken was a 2006 Silver Chevy Silverado.
*Stolen Vehicle: 5000 block of Hopewell Church Rd., taken was a black 18’ flatbed trailer.
Dec. 6. 2019
*Stolen Vehicle, Amanda Northern Rd., Caller states her vehicle was gone when she returned home. Believes known subject took the vehicle.
Dec. 7, 2019
*Theft, Columbus-Lancaster Rd. Caller states prescription medications taken from her car overnight.
*Theft, Chateau Dr., Caller states rims and tires taken off of his vehicle.
Dec. 8, 2019
*Theft, 8300 Meijer Dr. CW. Male was arrested for theft and released on a Summons to Canal Winchester Mayors court.
Units arrested three (3) subjects at Columbus-Lancaster Rd.; 1 LPD warrant (LPD picked up as scene) and two (2) females – one being the Suspect from the Nov. 13th pursuit on Rockmill Rd.
