OHIO – Dewine said during a press conference this week that “there’s no reason people should not be able to camp.”

Dewine said that they will be releasing official guidelines to parks and campgrounds in the next few days, after being closed due to stay-at-home orders.

The order allowed people who used campgrounds as personal homes to remain only, all others had to be closed. This included campgrounds, recreational camps and recreational vehicle parks.

Several State parks including popular Hocking Hills locations were closed to the public because of distancing rules.
