Committee of the Whole Meeting: From the Desk of Linda Chancey

CIRCLEVILLE –  Tonight from 6 pm to 7 pm City Council will have a Committee of whole meeting to will discuss updates the closing of the four railroad crossings in Circleville. During the last update in January several concerned Circleville residents came to make statements against the closing of one of the railroad crossings in particular East Corwin Street.  Council asked for a updated agreement from Norfolk on a option to close only 3 of the crossings, West Mill, West Ohio, and Huston Street.

Also during the meeting Council will discuss the sale of two historic properties in town Fire Station #2 located on South Court Street that was open up until February of 2019 and Everts School Gym with joining rooms that was closed several years ago.

If you would like to give input on either of these topics please comment or come to the meetings tonight at 6-7.  Following the Committee Meeting of the Whole will be a regular council meeting at 7 pm with no legislation readings of ordnances planned.
