CIRCLEVILLE – Circleville Mayor Don Mclroy announced last night during Circleville council meetings that it is officially pot hole season and the city wants to know where the big pot holes are so they can work to fix them.

According to the mayor the best way to fix these pot holes is use of a hot mix, but currently they have to travel to Columbus to get it. By the time they get it back to the city it has cooled off some making it less effective. The service department has had a hot mix machine on the budget for many years but every year that money has been cut so they have had to make it work until they get funding.

Circleville City council approved the city administration the ability to advertise for bids for this years 2020 street repair and utility improvements.

The mayor is asking anyone who is in need of pot hole repair or wants to report one call the service department at 740-477-8224.
