Chillicothe Accident Sends Juvenile With Serious Injuries to Hospital By MedFlight

ChillicotheThe Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle, injury crash that occurred on Norman Hill Rd., near Little Creek Road, in Ross County.  At approximately 06:54 A.M. a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Gavin Gibson, 19, of Chillicothe Ohio, was traveling eastbound on Norman Hill Rd. when he lost control in a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.  

Mr. Gibson refused medical treatment.  A passenger, Triston Tipton, 22, of Columbus, was also released on scene. A third passenger, who is a juvenile, was flown to Grant Medical Center by Medflight, with serious injuries. Two occupants were believed to be ejected from the vehicle. Concord Township Fire Department and EMS were on scene to assist. 

The public is reminded to wear their seatbelts. 

The crash remains under investigation.
