BUTLER COUNTY: 40,000 Dollars and Pounds of Drugs Seized in Drug Raid

BUTLER – Butler County is reporting a seizure of pounds of drugs and over 40,0000 dollars worth of drug money taken.

According to Bulter County Sheriff on January 4, 2021, with the assistance of the Hamilton and Middletown Police Departments the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce (BURN) conducted two search warrants at 712 Gordon Smith Boulevard in the city of Hamilton and 1718 Yankee Rd. in the city of Middletown.

The search warrants resulted in the recovery of approximately forty pounds of marijuana, over forty-two thousand dollars in U.S. currency, four guns, and high capacity drum magazines. A traffic stop related to the search warrants was conducted and thirty-year-old Christopher Grebe of Hamilton, Ohio was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Drugs (F3) and Possession of Drugs (F3). Additional arrests and charges are pending upon further investigation.

“We are kicking off the New Year keeping drugs and dealers off the streets. So far, it’s a good year”, states Sheriff Jones.
