ROCKBRIDGE – Around 10:30 am this morning a 911 call on a home that was on fire with flames showing was made.
Fire responded to Main Street in Rockbridge and immediately called for aide from other counties. When fire crews arrived on scene they reported smoke and flames coming from the roof the residence.
Marion Fire, Good Hope Fire, Logan Fire, HCEMS, Tankers out of Fairfield and Box 65 were called in to assist.
The use of so much water on the fire made the department call Old Stratsville water for emergency status.
