Breaking News: Gov. Dewine Says Two More Deaths in Pickaway Prisons to Probable COVID-19

PICKAWAY – Last night around 7 pm 911 calls came into Pickaway County Sheriffs office requesting five ambulances for five inmates at the Pickaway County Instituion to be transferred to OSU medical center with issues of oxygen saturation stats due to COVID-19.


Earlier today around 8 am calls for ambulatory help came out again to Pickaway Institution with another three calls of issues with inmates with COVID-19.

According to a press conference today April 15, 2020 Dewine says that two more inmates have died and they are suspecting COVID-19 and are waiting for results to confirm.

As of 2 pm on April 15th 131 staff members and Inmates have been diagnosed with COVID-19 at Orient area Institutions.
