OHIO – Dewine has just ordered an extension on school closures to May 1, 2020 which is a Friday. They will then reevaluate from there.
“We separated our students from their visual classrooms for three weeks, today we will give the order of a additional order to extend school closure to May 1 which happens to be a Friday. I will reevaluate this as we get closer, this should not be surprised anyone but I want to clarify that today. I want to thank the teachers administrators you were doing phenomenal job and very difficult circumstances I would think the parents know that you all have stepped up to and you’re doing a great job thank you very very much for that that great work,” said Dewine.
Dewine during the press conference pointed out that we are changing the curve and expectations of a surge peak of the COVID-19 virus should be between now and May 1st.
