CIRCLEVILLE – An accident between a pick up truck and a school bus has been reported. The accident occured on Nicholas Dr. between 188 and YMCA.
According to police the kids and driver of the bus was unhurt, and the driver of the truck was also uninjured. Police and Circleville Fire were on scene.
The accident occurred around 12:50 and is cleaned up now.
Statement from Circleville School, “Transportation Alert: At approximately 12:40 p.m. today, Bus No.8 was involved in a traffic incident on Nicholas Drive.
All students and staff were examined by medical personnel, are safe, & uninjured.
Students were safely transported by a second bus as law enforcement worked to clear the scene. We would like to thank our first responders from Circleville Fire Department, Circleville Police Department, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for their care and quick response time in checking in on all involved.
Families of students involved were contacted directly by the district to make them aware of the incident.
