CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Beth Workman is excited to announce her candidacy for Ohio’s 92nd House of Representatives seat. She will be campaigning against the winner of the Republican primary due to Rep. Gary Scherer being term limited. The 92nd District was once a Democratic stronghold—and when it was—it prospered. Under the leadership of Mike Shoemaker, Joe Sulzer, and Ray Pryor, our District had a strong voice in Columbus, and it deserves one now! Now, we have a real chance to bring strong, pragmatic leadership back to Columbus for us-by going back to blue with Beth. She has always been a fighter; she was for her children, she was for all of her kids when she was a public school teacher, she was when she ran in 2018 for this seat, and she will be when she is in Columbus.

Since November 2018, Beth has used her voice to advocate for educational funding issues and local initiatives in her community. She hopes to build upon the Cupp-Patterson plan for educational funding, end high-stakes testing, reform the destruction caused by the grading of a school district on their state report card, and continue fighting for the dignity of work and working class Ohioans. She will also be fighting for Affordable Health Care for All.

We hope to see you all at our Campaign Kickoff on January 7th at the Atwood House, 68 S. Paint St. Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 at 6:00pm. Our keynote speaker will be Former Governor Ted Strickland. To purchase tickets and learn more, please visit workingforall.org
