ASHVILLE – Ashville Elementary School third grade teachers Kortney Flowers and Heather Humphries recently received a $6,500 grant to purchase the Fountas and Pinnell Classroom Guided Reading Collection, which includes 200 books across various reading levels.
“We can’t thank you enough for the grant and how it will benefit our students. We are so excited to utilize the guided reading books in our classrooms this year. We know our students will love the new books and the learning that will take place because of them,” Flowers said.
