PICKAWAY – The local dog shelter is asking questions after a aging dog with a great demeanor was abandoned this morning.
According to Pickaway County Dog Shelter a dog was dropped off this morning by two men on bicycles on South Court street by McDonalds and now they are asking answers.
The dog only had a red collar on and no dog tags, but he was microchipped. Sadly the information on the chip is very old and records do not go back far enough. The shelter is asking for the owners to come forward to the circumstances why the dog was dumped so they can move on and find a home for the dog.
