Waverly OH- The Waverly Mayor took to Facebook in order to encourage patrons to visit the licensed lemonade stand that’s being operated by a 9 year old with a cause. The below message is directly from the Mayor.

“Please take a few minutes tomorrow, Saturday 17th, to stop by and support 9 year old Ethan Holbert and the Garnet A Wilson Library. Ethan obtained his vendor license this week and will be operating a lemonade stand at the future library site (old north school lot).
Ethan is raising money to support construction of the new library. His lemonade stand will open at 9:30 am and he is accepting donations for his lemonade. He will be operating under a canopy, rain or shine. If it is raining, you will be able to pull up to the canopy and be served while you remain in your car.
So let’s all take a few minutes of our day to show this young man our support. His hard work and initiative deserves to be recognized by his community.
This is win – win. The library will receive a donation and Ethan can rejoice in his accomplishment. I know I won’t miss it!”
