Update – Man Arrested for Aggravated Menacing and Domestic Violence in Circleville

Circleville – A man was arrested at a taser point in one of Circleville’s parks after threatening family members.

According to early reports, a call came in from a man driving a black car who had just threatened family members threatening to shoot someone. When police caught up to the vehicle and attempted to stop him. He refused to stop and turned onto Kingston Pike. The chase was short before he pulled into Barthlemas Park located at 830 Kingston Pike. A Circleville officer ordered the man out of the vehicle at taser point, during this time he threatened officers. He was arrested shortly afterward after four Circleville units, and a Pickaway county unit arrived on the scene.

29-year-old Michael Michaels was arrested and transported to Pickaway County jail. He has been charged with Domestic Violence, Aggravated Menacing, Endangering Children, failure to Comply with Police, Assault, Obstructing Offical Business, and Domestic Violence.
