Ohio National Guard Clears up Fake Letters on Deployment

OHIO – On January 12, 2021 Governor Dewine authorized 580 Ohio national guard soldiers and Airmen into active duty. National Guard quickly went on defense when a fake letter was spread across the internet with their letterhead with false statements.

The letter that Ohio National Guard reports as fake says that national guard is preparing to mobilize and being dispatched for a 2 week quarantine for all citizens, all businesses closed. That the Stafford act will be declared at the end of the weekend. The false letter also tells people to stock up and share this with family and friends.
