OHIO – Summer is not typical for voting in Ohio, usually, it’s in the spring and fall but, because of the vacant Congressional seat in Ohio 15 district vacated seat of Steve Stivers, and votes on a charter for Circleville this is steaming up to be an important vote for locals.

US. Representative for the 15 district has eleven people running for the seat, but the ballot will give you twelve options due to Brian Stewart who discontinued his run but still appears on the ballot. According to the Pickaway board of elections if you vote for Stewart the vote will not count.

Another important issue on the ballot for Circleville is, “shall a commission be chosen to frame a charter?” and for members of that charter if it were to pass. Early voting began yesterday July 7th and will run until August 2. Election day will be August 3rd when polling locations will operate.
