CIRCLEVILLE – What started as a noncompliance check from Circleville Probation ended with a full house search warrant with Circleville Police detectives.

Circleville Probation went knocking on 217 North Pickaway street for 39-year-old probationer Fredrick Ruby who was being non-compliant with probation orders, (failing weekly urine samples). When probation entered the home they found several items in plain sight that suggested trafficking of drugs.

With a search warrant from Circleville detectives, police searched the home and found scales used for weighing drugs, baggies, a loaded hi-point 9 mm handgun, and a baggie of methamphetamines.

Fredrick Benjamin Ruby and James Ramey, 34 were charged with probation violation at taken to Pickaway county jail. More charges are probable including possibly trafficking, having weapons under disability, and drug possession.
