ASHVILLE – Water has been shut off during most of the day Monday, and now the town says that it will be a bit longer due to damage to a line.
Water was shutoff Monday 4/19 from 8am -1pm on Long St between Station St. and Main St. and on Main St. between Cromley St. and Walnut St. for maintenance, but during the process of doing scheduled maintenance, a valve was broken and the water cannot be turned back on until repairs are made.
Ashville says that the crews are working hard to get this repair completed. This outage has caused more residents to be affected, mainly on Randolph St., Wright St and Bortz St.
