If skies are clear this Sunday, you will be able to witness this years “Full Hunter Moon”.
The Full Hunter Moon is not tied to any specific month, it’s the first full moon after the Harvest Moon, or the one closest to the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.
With the Full Hunter Moon expect to see a large bright orange moon that will be visible just after sunset on Sunday at 6:31pm.
The moon will appear larger due to being near the horizon which is known as the “moon illusion” which is a trick of the eye.
