UPDATE: Wreck on US-23 and North Court Sends Two to Hospital

PICKAWAY – Around 7:30 am this morning Pickaway Sheriff received a 911 call on an two vehicle wreck that occurred at the intersection of US-23 and North Court Street.



According to Sheriff the orange Honda Fit was heading Northbound on North Court and attempting to merge into traffic on US-23, but had to yield to heavy traffic when the black Chevy Traverse who was also heading Northbound on North Court failed to keep safe distance and rear ended the Honda Fit. After the Suv struck the Honda the driver possibly in a medical condition drove Northbound on US-23 for about 300 yards until a concerned motorist was able to get her to stop.

The driver of the Traverse, from Circleville was transported to Berger Hospital with injuries. The driver of the Fit, Stoutsville, was transferred to Grant Medical with injuries. Both people were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, no other occupants were in either vehicle.

Circleville Fire, Pickaway Sheriff, and Harrison Township Fire were on scene.
