UPDATE: Three People Transfered to Columbus Hospitals After Crash on Westfall This Morning

 Chillicothe – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred on Westfall Road northeast of Simmons Road in Ross County at approximately 7:47 a.m. on January 29, 2020. A 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Brandon Smith, 18 of Chillicothe, was traveling southwest on Westfall Road. A 2019 Jeep Cherokee driven by Carrie Bowdle, 42 of Chillicothe, was traveling northeast on Westfall Road. The Toyota drove off the right side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, came back onto the roadway, then drove left of the center line, and struck the Jeep. 

Mr. Smith and his juvenile passenger, Jacob Smith, of Chillicothe, were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Concord Township EMS. They were both later transported by ground to Children’s Hospital in Columbus. 

Mrs. Bowdle was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Concord Township EMS and later transported by ground to Grant Medical Center. 

Concord Township EMS and Fire Department assisted at the scene .
