PICKAWAY – Four dogs and two pigs were discovered abandoned at Deer Creek State Park in Pickaway County last month, and one of those dogs that seemed to be the most emaciated has now found a forever home.

Non-Profit Circle Area Humane Society aims to rehabilitates and rehomes the abused and neglected animals of Pickaway County.

The Society is happy to announce Paul the puppy has gained enough weight to leave the Circle Area Humane society and go to a forever home according to the society.

“This pup has been a treasure to rehabilitate and it is with great pride that we see him go to his new forever home. Without your generous donations this could not have happened for him. We want to thank you for donating and praying for this little angel. Paul really appreciates it too! Thank you Miller family for giving Paul a forever home,” said Circle area society.

The two piggies are still looking for a forever home, “Blanket and Flintstone are two bonded female pigs that need to find a home together. We are looking for a home that will allow these two to live out their lives being happy pigs together. They need a secure enclosure because they are escape artists. They are a little shy but are coming around. They are friendly.”

The society has several other animals to adopt at the local animal shelter located at 185 Island Road in Circleville, Ohio. Check out the facebook group.
