Circleville – As per the Circleville Police Department, scams may be possible involving the recent fire on Logan Street. They have advised two proper giving locations for financial donations in the following message:
The public support shown to the families on Logan St. During and after the fire was overwhelming. As with any disaster scam artist will try to capitalize on other peoples misfortune. Real victims photos and stories can be used on crowdfunding sites by scam artist.
We have spoken with both families and obtained their preferred method for any donations.
