Two Arrests Have Been Made After a Iowa Child has Been Found in Ohio

Parma – A 21 year old man and his mother are in jail tonight after being arrested for having a 16 year old child from Iowa in their home.

According to a press release, Steven Davis, 21 and his mother Laurie Metot, 49 are being held under a 50,000 dollar bond in Cuyahoga County Jail on interfering with custody charges.


The 16 year olds grandparents that had custody of her reported her missing on January 4th after she left a note saying she was leaving for California.


Iowa reached out to Ohio Internet for crimes against children task force (ICAC) when they learned the child was in Parma. Parma police and U.S. Secret service found the child and made the arrests.

The child has been returned to the family.
