SOUTH BLOOMFIELD – A car driving south bound on 104 lost control and ended up in a 5 foot ditch and struck a telephone pole.  “I was driving about 35 to 40 MPH.  I caught lights in my mirror.  I looked up, like someone was too close. I felt the steering wheel come loose.  I hit water. I hydroplaned and lost control.  I couldn’t do anything about it.  I was planning a nice evening at home.  I’m glad I was wearing my seatbelt, said Chris Harless from Portsmouth.”

Weather conditions were rain and overcast.  Harless suffered only minor injuries and was released from the scene.  Harless claimed, “His seatbelt kept him safe, that this accident would have been worse without it.”

Deputy Relli and Deputy Wallace was on the scene.  Traffic was impeded but was not stopped in either direction.
