FAIRBORN – A man driving a car hauler trailer is having a bad day after he lost control of his semi and flipped it into a farmers field loaded with Volkswagen cars.
The accident occurred on US-70 about a mile before the US-675 split around 4 pm on May 18th.
According to one witness the cars were still on the trailer after the trailer flipped onto the farmers field, but when tow trucks arrived to flip the carrier over they had to remove the cars from the top of the trailer.
It took several rollback wreckers, two heavy duty semi wreckers, and a bobcat to remove the semi, trailer, and cars from the field slowing down traffic for hours.
