PICKAWAY – Each year, Saddle & Sirloin 4-H Club holds a Chinese Auction to not only fund their club for the year, but also to give a portion of the funds to local charities. This year, their members voted to give directly to what 4-H is all about to them, the Fairgrounds Revitalization. The excitement among the members has built throughout the year in anticipation of having a new fairground to show their projects to the community. On April 30, 2019, the club invited representatives of the Pickaway County Community Foundation to their meeting and presented them with a check in the amount of $2,200.00. Saddle & Sirloin hopes that many of the 4-H clubs in Pickaway County will help contribute not only monetarily to the fairgrounds, but also contribute their time and energy in getting the fairgrounds ready for the 2019 Fair.
