US – Donald Trump is asking congress to cut checks and get them in the mail to Americans in two weeks according to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Tuesday.
Payments could be up to 1,000 per adult and 500 per child so a family of four with two adults would receive 3,000 dollars, Mnuchin said on Fox Business Network.
Mnuchin said that families would received another 3,000 six weeks later if the national emergency still exists.
