CIRCLEVILLE – Ava VanArsdalen, age 6, was named Little Miss Pumpkin Show 2015 at the contest held Wednesday afternoon at the 109th Circleville Pumpkin Show.

VanArsdalen, a student at HIS Academy, is the daughter of Ryan and Courtney VanArsdalen and was sponsored by Guardian Home Inspections.

Her court includes first attendant Chloe Riffle, 6, daughter of Shashona Fisher of Kingston; and second attendant Kenzington Younkin, 7, the daughter of Trevor and Nichole Younkin of Lockbourne.

Riffle attends Zane Trace Elementary School and was sponsored by Conn’s Chips.

Younkin attends Scioto Elementary School in the Teays Valley district and was sponsored by Chase Bank.

A total of 130 girls competed for the title this year in the contest judged by Anne Guggisberg of the Ohio Swiss Festival in Sugarcreek, Kitty Keller of the Sweetcorn Festival in Millersport and Jim Shumway of the Parade of the Hills in Nelsonville.
