The Ohio Christian University Music Department and Pickaway County Community Foundation are proud to present the Carillon Brass Quintet in concert at 7 p.m. March 23 in Detty Chapel at Ohio Christian University. Because of a generous grant by the Pickaway County Community Foundation, the concert is free, but tickets are required.

Tickets may be obtained at the Pickaway County Welcome Center, through the Music Department website (www.ohiochristian.edu/carillonbrass), or by calling the Music Department at 740-420-5905. Seating is limited, so reserve your tickets today.

The Carillon Brass consists of five talented brass players with a wide variety of experience, significant careers and a love of brass music in all forms and styles. The musicians are all principle players in the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and they teach at such places as the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, University of Dayton and Cedarville University.

The Carillon Brass has performed in major U.S. brass festivals in France, Hong Kong, Australia and community artist series throughout the midwest. They perform more than 150 educational concerts, clinics and masterclasses each year and have been chosen to participate in the U.S. State Department’s ensemble touring program.

Equally at home in community artists series, chamber music concerts, young person’s concerts or orchestral appearances, the Carillon Brass can provide just the right musical environment to fit the occasion.
