September 21

– Officers responded to a parking complaint at the Savings Bank on Pinckney Street. The scene checked OK.

– An officer discovered a vehicle with no license plates in the 200 block of West Ohio Street that appeared to have been driven through a field. It also had a flat driver’s side tire, and the catalytic converter had been cut off. The vehicle was impounded.

– Officers responded to a nuisance complaint in the 300 block of East Mound Street regarding a property that had trash in the alley behind the residence and busted windows in the home. Information was obtained.

– Officers responded to a nuisance complaint regarding a couch sitting on the Watt Street side of a residence in the 100 block of North Pickaway Street that had been there for several days. Information was obtained.

– An employee at Sheffield at Sylvan reported a syringe was found near the garage next to the leasing office. Officers located and disposed of the item.

– Officers responded to a complaint about a vehicle with three tires missing that had been parked in Sumpter Alley for several months. The vehicle was impounded.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane came to the police station to report she and her family were still being harassed by a known subject who disrupted a family reunion on Five Points Pike and again at Port Columbus International Airport. Information was obtained, and the caller was referred to the Port Columbus Police Department and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– Officers impounded a vehicle following a traffic stop at South Court and Ohio streets.

– Officers took a report on theft at Circleville High School.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported the theft of a lawn mower.

– A caller from Trinity Lutheran Church on East Mound Street reported two juveniles had painted graffiti in the Bible garden at the church. Six other juveniles later returned to the property and cleaned up the mess. No report was taken.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 400 block of East Mound Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street requested to speak with an officer regarding a child custody issue. The caller was advised it was a civil issue.

– A resident in the 300 block of East Ohio Street reported someone had stolen something from his garage, and that two males got away but he was with a female suspect at the time of the call. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 1400 block of Shagbark reported his bicycle was stolen while he was at the Pickaway County District Public Library on North Court Street.

– A 911 caller reported a domestic dispute in a moving vehicle on East Franklin Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 200 block of Meadow Drive reported vandalism to her car. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 200 block of North Pickaway Street reported a disagreement between a mother and son. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Court Street reported her boyfriend had locked her out of the apartment. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller in the 200 block of North Court Street reported a “sketchy” vehicle in her parking lot. Officers advised the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a neighbor dispute in the 100 block of Gale Court. Officers advised both parties if they came back out for another disturbance, they could possible go to jail.

– A resident in the 100 block of Dunmore Road reported her identity had been stolen. No report was taken, and officers determined there was no documentation to support the claim.

– A caller reported an audible alarm and lights flashing inside Everts Middle School on South Court Street. The service department was advised.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Mill Street reported an adult male had been dragged down the alleyway by a vehicle and had a severe foot injury. The Clearcreek Fire Department medic responded as mutual aid and transported the male to Berger Hospital. A report was taken on an injury hit-skip.

– A caller reported third-party contact by a subject against whom he had a civil protection order. No report was taken, and the caller advised he would follow up with the court.

– Officers impounded a vehicle following a traffic stop at South Pickaway and East Mill streets.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Savings Bank on North Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 2200 block of Walnut Creek Pike came to the police station to report her wallet was lost or stolen, and it was last seen at Scioto Valley Coffee. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Adena Health Systems on North Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported his mother was involved in a property damage accident in the parking lot at Berger Hospital. A report was taken on a private property hit-skip.

– The Circle Area Humane Society requested an officer stand-by while they checked a dog in the 400 block of Dearborn Avenue. The stand-by was completed.

– Jeffrey Edwards of Lancaster was arrested for possession and OVI following an accident in the intersection of Lancaster Pike and Stoutsville Pike.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 200 block of South Court Street. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

– An officer advised of a possible theft that occurred at Circleville High School. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Court Street reported a traffic accident that occurred earlier on South Pickaway at Mound Street involving the caller and a Circleville bus. A report was taken.

– A caller reported two people were having sex in the lower parking lot at Barthelmas Park. The subjects were advised.

– Officers responded to a neighbor dispute in the 100 block of Gale Court and advised it was the third time police had been called in the past day and a half. A supplemental report was taken.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Mound Street came to the police station to report harassment and possible violation of a civil protection order.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported finding a needle in the street. Officers located and disposed of the item.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in front of Dairy Queen on South Court Street.

– A 911 caller requested officers help clear skateboarders off the tennis court at Ted Lewis Park. The juveniles were advised of the proper use of the tennis court.

– A resident in the 300 block of East Mill Street requested an officer stand-by while he picked up his truck in the 200 block of Plum Street. The stand-by was completed.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Union Street came to the police station to report identity theft. A report was taken.

– An officer responded to reports of criminal damaging in the 400 block of Watt Street. A report was taken.

– An officer served a warrant in the 300 block of East Mill Street and transported a female prisoner to the Pickaway County Jail. A report was taken on a warrant arrest.

– A 911 caller reported she was uneasy about two males walking around Rural King with a gun. Officers checked Walmart to see if they had headed that direction, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A caller reported a dumpster next to the Fast Freeze on Edison Avenue was on fire. The fire department handled the scene.
