Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Overnight Transportation. He was a member of the Friendly Freewill Baptist Church, Moose Lodge 11 and the American Legion Post 417.

He was 100 percent pure BUCKEYE and enjoyed street rodding, trains, playing Santa, and singing and dancing. He was the “Life of the Party!” He was also passionate about his love for the Lord. Most important in his life was spending time with his loving family and many friends.

Sterling and Jamie (Josh) Barnett of Trenton. He was a loving grandfather to Salena, Ciara, Savannah, Austin, Dylan, Dustin, Kristin, Skylar, Jazlynne, Gemma and Jaxson. He is also survived by a sister, Barb (Richard) Sheets of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. James also leaves behind his loving companions, Roxie and Harley.

James will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Heaven received our “Hero,” but we will continue to cherish every moment we had with him.
