August 17

– A caller reported two vehicles parked at the back of the Porter’s Car Wash on North Court Street playing loud music. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Alexander Cornwell was arrested for drug abuse instruments in the 900 block of Clinton Street after a caller reported a vehicle parked in front of his house blocking the driveway with a male passed out behind the wheel and drugs in his lap.

– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported a leather coat and his bank card were stolen from his vehicle overnight.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of East Mound Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported her vehicle had been ransacked overnight and some items were missing. A report was taken, and extra patrol was requested.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Circleville Middle School. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– An officer was flagged down on South Court Street at East Franklin by a female who stated she was involved in a domestic dispute with a male. The female was transported to a residence on Pontious Lane.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported someone had placed fishing poles and a tackle box in the back of her pickup truck. The property was returned to its owner.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint at Liberty Pawn Shop on West Main Street.

– A resident in the 200 block of Corwin Street reported an older male in a truck who was disoriented. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– An employee of the Circleville Herald reported a newspaper box was missing from in front of Elsea’s on North Court Street. A report was taken.

– A caller reported someone had damaged vehicles at Euro Trucking on Island Road. Extra patrol was requested for excavating equipment on the property and for juveniles swimming in the pond.

– An employee at UDF on East Main Street reported someone drove off without paying for a gas purchase.

– A resident in the 100 block of Lewis Avenue reported someone had broken into her apartment. A report was taken on burglary.

– An officer took a nuisance complaint in the 500 block of East Franklin Street for several junk vehicles and construction materials on the property.

– An employee of the Pickaway County Health Department requested an officer stand-by as they served a nuisance notice in the 800 block of South Scioto Street. The stand-by was completed.

– A caller reported he keeps receiving harassing calls from a collection agency. No report was taken for now, and the subject advised he would continue to investigate and advise.

– The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported a vehicle driving aggressively coming into the city westbound on Lancaster Pike. The sheriff’s office was advised.

– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street reported someone got into her vehicle and took some articles. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– An employee of the Circle Area Humane Society advised of a chicken coop violation being too close to a house in the 500 block of South Washington Street. The resident was contacted by phone, and a report was taken.

– A Chillicothe resident came to the police station to report a theft that occurred in June in the 100 block of West Main Street.

– An officer advised of a violation of a protection order on Eva Drive. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported someone stole the registration out of her vehicle. A report was taken.

– A Chillicothe resident reported a theft the night before in the 100 block of Pinckney Street.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported an assault occurred about 10 minutes before. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 300 block of Clark Drive reported her husband was driving off possibly drunk toward Duke and Duchess. Officers located the vehicle in the driveway, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute. The female opted to leave for the evening.

– A resident in the 500 block of Nicholas Square reported her wallet was stolen out of her vehicle the night before. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported a verbal domestic dispute in Ohio Heights on East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.

– Robby Hill was arrested for domestic violence following a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street.

– A 911 caller reported someone was messing with her house outside. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a noise complaint across the street. Officers were unable to locate any noise in the area.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Western Avenue reported her daughter was missing, and it was a recurring problem. A report was taken on a missing juvenile.

– A caller reported a domestic dispute in which one of the parties was locked out of the house in the 300 block of East Mound Street. A report was taken.

– A caller advised he would get “jumped” if he left the Duke and Duchess station on East Main Street. Officers were unable to locate the caller.

– A 911 caller reported a noise complaint and loud screaming in the 100 block of Dunmore. The caller was advised of 911 emergencies.

August 18

– A 911 caller reported a domestic dispute in the 300 block of East Mound Street. A report was taken.

– A caller reported a domestic dispute with a possible assault on McCulloch Avenue. A report was taken on a dispute, and the subjects were advised to keep it down.

– An officer advised of an open gate in the 300 block of Town Street. The scene checked OK, and officers secured the gate as best they could.

– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported prowlers outside her window. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Union Street reported some items had been stolen from his vehicle overnight. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported finding a wallet on Ohio Street. A report was taken, and the owner of the wallet was identified.

– A 911 caller reported smoke could be seen from the tree line between Circleville Elementary School and Nicholas Drive. Officers advised it was the smoldering remains of a fire from the night before on Glenmont. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of Abernathy Avenue reported a known subject had sold all of her prescription medication. Officers were unable to locate the caller.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported her child’s prescription had been lost or stolen. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 100 block of Gale Court reported her neighbor was on her property the day before and damaged her flag. Officers advised it was a civil issue, and she was referred to her landlord.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported money was missing from her purse. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 200 block of Walnut Street.

– An employee of the Pickaway County Health Department requested an officer stand-by for delivery of nuisance letters on Hayward Street and East Ohio Street.

– A resident in the 100 block of Francene Court reported his mother-in-law had assaulted him. Officers advised there was no assault, just a verbal argument. No report was taken.

– A 911 caller reported a Pickaway Plains ambulance driver was driving erratically and almost struck several vehicles traveling in the area of Pickaway and Main streets. A final 911 call advised the male driver was in diabetic shock. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital.

– A resident in the 400 block of Half Avenue reported a known subject was supposed to be on his way to the caller’s house to assault him. The caller was advised on the situation, and officers were unable to locate anyone in the area. The resident later reported a known subject was making threats to kill him. Information was obtained.

– A 911 caller reported a male subject walked into Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23 and got a drink without paying for it, and then went to sit in a vehicle outside. The manager advised there had been no problems other than with a few former employees.

– A resident in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue reported she left her home the night before, and when she returned, her TV was missing. A report was taken.

– A 911 caller reported two males were fighting and throwing glass at each other in the 300 block of East Union Street. A report was taken.

– An employee of Apple Ridge Apartments reported a known male was trespassing on the property. Officers were unable to locate the male.

– An employee at Coughlin Automotive on U.S. Route 23 reported a male subject had passed a bad check. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 1000 block of South Washington Street reported his 8-year-old child was not listening. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Western Avenue reported she found her missing child, but she was refusing to come home. A report was taken on a juvenile complaint.

– A resident in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue reported he was arguing with his cousin over a lawn mower, and the cousin was refusing to leave the property. A report was taken.

– A caller reported several juveniles were playing in the roadway on Renick Avenue, and a 1-year-old was running in the middle of the road in front of traffic. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A resident on McCulloch Avenue reported a male pushed her and broke her iPad. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller requested an officer stand-by in the 200 block of Logan Street while a female moved out of the home. The stand-by was completed.

– A caller reported finding syringes in the roadway on Lowery Lane at Town Street. Officers located and disposed of the items.

– A caller reported four young males were running out in front of traffic in the area of Everts Middle School on South Court Street. The juveniles were advised.

– A caller reported her son had been assaulted at Ted Lewis Park. A report was taken.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle kept pulling into the back lot at Brooks-Yates on East High Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported an elderly man was just released from a hospital in Chillicothe and ran out of gas at the third or fourth traffic light on North Court Street. The officer refueled the vehicle.

– A caller reported a young male and female sitting across the alleyway behind J.R. Hooks on Watt Street who appeared suspicious. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on Lancaster Pike, and a traffic stop was conducted at Duke and Duchess on East Main Street. The driver checked OK, and a warning was given.

– A caller reported finding a needle in the street on Edison Avenue. Officers located and disposed of the item.
