August 2

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported he saw on Facebook that his daughter was missing, but she returned the night she was reported missing. The juvenile was removed from LEADS, and a supplemental report was taken.

– A caller reported her son was on his bike and was struck by a vehicle at North Court and Pleasant streets, and the vehicle left the scene. The caller declined medical attention for her son. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of West Water Street. Officers made contact with the subject and confirmed she had permission from the homeowner to do laundry at the residence. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a loud party in the back yard of a residence in the 100 block of Montclair Avenue. Officers made contact with the subjects and advised them to keep the noise down.

– An employee from Gants Pizza on North Court Street reported a female was refusing to leave and was falling asleep at the bar. Officers requested a medic, and the subject was transported to the Berger Hospital emergency room.

– A caller reported a large fight outside the bar in the 200 block of West Main Street. All parties left prior to the officer’s arrival.

– A caller reported loud music and a lot of yelling coming from a residence in the 1000 block of Mulberry Road. Officers located the subjects and advised them of the complaint.

– Steffan R. Buss of Columbus was arrested for disorderly conduct after he called 911 to report he was drunk and wanted to go home. He advised his location was the 500 block of Ridgewood Drive, but officers could not locate him there. He then advised he was sitting in front of the Pour House on North Court Street, but officers also could not locate him at that location. Officers then returned to the area of Ridgewood Drive and located him passed out in the back of a vehicle.

– A caller reported she was driving by the Main Street Pub on West Main Street and noticed a male passed out on the bench in front of the bar. Officers located the male, who checked OK. He was sent en route to his residence.

– A resident in the 200 block of Sunset Drive reported a theft.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of Meadow Drive. The subject advised they initially dialed 911 for a list assist but hung up when assistance arrived. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported a male subject was down in the parking lot at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– A resident in the 100 block of Barry Drive reported vandalism to his vehicle. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– A medic from the Circleville Fire Department advised an EMS unit was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. Both vehicles involved would be en route to Berger Hospital. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised and were handling.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of Holiday Lane after a caller reported she was attempting to sell a car and the hood keeps getting dented in. She also said the brake line may have been cut because it was hanging from the vehicle and brake fluid was pooling. Information was obtained.

– A caller reported a vehicle went off the roadway at Barthelmas Park on Kingston Pike. The caller then called back to report the vehicle took off headed out of the city. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported a family in a vehicle possibly dumping trash. The subjects checked OK.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of a traffic accident with injuries at Ohio Christian University on Lancaster Pike. Subjects were transported to the hospital for treatment.

– A caller reported juveniles were trespassing and riding skateboards on the property in the 100 block of Rustic Drive. The juveniles were located and advised.

– A caller reported they had reserved the shelter house at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park and another party was there. The officer advised the party of the reserved area.

– An employee at Zanzi’s Pizza on East Main Street reported juveniles were disrupting business riding skateboards in the parking lot. The juveniles were located and advised.

– A caller reported juveniles left behind a bike in the 1200 block of South Street, and he believed it might be stolen. Officers were unable to identify the bike as stolen, and a report was taken on found property.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of South Washington Street. The subjects checked OK.

– Officers responded to reports of a verbal domestic dispute in the 100 block of Watt Street. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported a wallet was stolen from the home. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 500 block of Northridge Road reported two suspicious male subjects who appeared to duck into some bushes when security lights came on. He said he confronted the males, and they said they were just cutting through yards. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

August 3

– Dane S. Riser was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and possession after a caller reported a male subject lying in the alley in the 800 block of North Court Street who appeared to be passed out.

– Joshua L. Bailey of Williamsport was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication after a resident in the 100 block of Park Street reported a male subject on his front porch wearing coveralls and yelling.

– A 911 caller reported another tenant in the Eden Place apartments on Atwater Avenue had grabbed her arm and pushed her. The caller declined medical attention. Officers advised there was no assault, only a verbal altercation. No report was taken.

– A 911 caller reported a known female subject was driving recklessly in the area of Clinton and Walnut streets. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– An employee at the Pickaway Banking Center on South Court Street reported they had a counterfeit $20 bill. A report was taken on criminal simulation.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint at the Kwik Stop Sunoco on West Main Street.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a check located on North Court Street in the area of Ted Lewis Park. A report was taken, and the check’s owner was notified.

– A resident came to the police station to request an officer stand-by as he retrieved his belongings from a residence in the 300 block of Walnut Street. The other subject was not home at the time, and the subject advised he would try later.

– A caller reported a subject trying to sell cleaning materials in the 100 block of York Street. Officers located the subject and advised he had a valid solicitor’s permit. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute in the 100 block of Logan Street. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– A resident in the 100 block of Mingo Street reported someone was putting gas on a grill in the area and advised it may be too close to the residence. The officer advised the scene checked OK.

– A caller advised she found a bag of clothing left behind at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park. Officers located and secured the bag, then notified its owner. The subject agreed to come to the station to collect her property.

– Officers served a warrant on Bo T. Cross at the Pickaway County jail.

– A caller reported a vehicle had been tailgating her from Londonderry in a possible case of road rage. Officers located the vehicle pulling onto the lot of PNC Bank on East Main Street. Contact was made with the female driver, who was advised of her driving habits.

– The Chillicothe Police Department requested officers deliver a message to a resident in the 1500 block of Atwater Avenue. The message was delivered.

– A resident in the 300 block of Long Street reported her purse was stolen from her home while she was asleep. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported an 11-year-old female at the location who was unable to return home due to someone harassing and threatening her. Officers advised no threats were made, and no report was taken.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute over a vehicle in the 400 block of North Scioto Street.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Pickaway and High streets. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported a 5-year-old at the residence whose parents were not home. The officer advised everything was OK, and the juvenile was advised of her behavior.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lewis Road reported a possible scam. He was advised regarding the situation.

– A caller reported a subject in a vehicle was following her very slowly in the area of Clinton and Ohio streets and making obscene gestures. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle or the complainant, who was going to wait for him at the Ohio Market.

– A caller reported a juvenile female was in the 400 block of South Court Street and refusing to go home. The child was returned to her mother, and a report was taken on unruly.

– Officers took a report on child endangering in the 200 block of Walnut Street after a caller requested a well-being check on a 3-year-old at the residence who had been in the roadway without supervision. The child’s residence also was reported as being “disgusting” and below par.

– Officers responded to reports of an open door in the 300 block of East Mound Street. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– Richard A. Hill Jr. was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop at Washington and Franklin streets.

– A resident in the 400 block of Half Avenue reported they were unable to stop a water leak in the bathroom and the bathroom was flooding. The water department was advised.
