July 23

– A resident in the 100 block of Yukon Drive, Commercial Point, reported they paid a man to put in a patio, but he had not completed the job. A report was taken on theft by deception.

July 24

– An employee at Save-A-Lot on U.S. Route 23 reported someone damaged three pop machines trying to break them open. A report was taken on vandalism.

– Desirae K. Hoffman, 22, of Williamsport, was arrested for theft after a resident in the 600 block of South Water Street, Williamsport, reported the mother of his child took his phone and would not return it.

– A resident in the 7000 block of state Route 762, Orient, reported receiving unwanted text messages and phone calls from her ex-boyfriend. The subject was advised to have no further contact with the victim, and a report was taken on harassment.

– A resident in the 12000 block of London Road, Orient, reported someone broke into his residence and took several items. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 10000 block of Borror Road, Orient, reported she caught a male subject inside her vehicle. He left the scene, taking several items. A report was taken on theft.

– Alexis Schoenberger, 19, of Grove City, was arrested for disorderly conduct and underage alcohol after a resident in the 200 block of Mill Street, Williamsport, reported an intoxicated female at the home being disorderly.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 12000 block of Carson Road, Orient.

– A deputy performed special detail in the 5000 block of Dietrich Avenue, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 5000 block of Boucher Drive, Orient.

– A deputy assisted the Scioto Township Fire Department on a well-being check in the 200 block of Cavanaugh Drive, Commercial Point.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 6000 block of Hitler Road #2, Circleville.

– A deputy responded on a squad run in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 9300 block of state Route 188, Circleville. The subject checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 1700 block of Shoshoni Drive, Circleville.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient. The subject was not located.

July 25

– A resident in the 7000 block of state Route 56 West reported a group of people in an argument. A report was taken on assault.

– A caller reported someone took gasoline from his boat docked at Deer Creek marina in New Holland. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23 reported she made a purchase and someone changed the amount. A report was taken on theft.

– Brittany N. Vancleave, 21, of Stoutsville, and a 17-year-old female were arrested for the theft of clothing items at Walmart.

– A resident in the 26000 block of Thompson Road, Williamsport, reported an unruly child. No charges have been filed at this time.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of state Route 762 East, Lockbourne. A subject was transported to the hospital by Harrison Township EMS.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 27000 block of Kime Holderman Road, Circleville. No threats or physical abuse were made.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 11000 block of Thrailkill Road, Orient. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a dog bite in the 200 block of South Water Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of prowlers in the 25000 block of state Route 159 and Tarlton Road. No one was found at the property.

– A 17-year-old Commercial Point resident was traveling northbound on Gibson Road when he crested a rise in the road, losing control and going off the road, rolling the vehicle twice. The subject was treated for injuries.

July 26

– A resident in the 14000 block of Davis Road, Mt. Sterling, reported he was missing some medication. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient, reported someone broke into his home and took several items. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident on Front Street, Commercial Point, reported someone stole the license plate from his trailer. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at Bob Evans on South Court Street reorted they found a counterfeit bill. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 12000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient, reported her estranged husband was making threatening statements. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 15000 block of Blacker Road reported someone cut the tire on his vehicle. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– A deputy responded to a reported death in the 13000 block of Carson Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of School Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 6000 block of Hagerty Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 7000 block of Third Street, Orient.

– Todd Marioth, 34, of Ashville, was traveling southbound on Ashville Pike when he swerved to miss a deer, striking a ditch and a power pole. Subjects were treated for injuries.

July 27

– Alice Hashman, 52, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Main Street, Orient, reported having an argument with his brother. Charges were declined, but a report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 18000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling, reported receiving a call stating she had won a sweepstakes.

– An employee at Pettit’s IGA on Mill Street, Williamsport, reported a known subject came into the store, took several items and left without paying. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 26000 block of Kime Holderman Road reported someone got a new phone on his account. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 200 block of Pawnee Drive reported her ex-boyfriend was leaving her threatening messages. A report was taken on harassment.

– Robert G. Starkey III, 45, of Circleville, was arrested for the theft of a BB gun at Walmart.

– Tracey A. Climer, 33, of Ashville, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 4000 block of Duvall Road after reports of a domestic dispute.

– A deputy performed special detail in the 24000 block of Mouser Road, New Holland.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 7700 block of High Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 21000 block of Bolender Pontious Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of prowlers in the 1800 block of Stonebridge Road, Circleville.

– Sheldon Huffman, 59, of Patriot, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 23 at Sperry Drive and was unable to stop in time, striking a vehicle driven by Stivi Nechovski, 45, of Circleville. Nechovski’s vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Julia Lester, 66, of Circleville. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Nicholas Lumbard, 18, of Amanda, advised he was traveling westbound on state Route 188 and began to cross the intersection, then observed a vehicle driven by Paul Shoemaker, 40, of Lancaster, approaching from his right and struck the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

– Darryl Wright, 65, of Grove City, advised he was traveling westbound on Scioto Darby Road and the left front wheel of his vehicle came off, causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

– Carl Groff, 61, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling northbound on state Route 159. No injuries were reported.

– Amy Thomas, 18, of New Holland, advised she was traveling southbound on state Route 207 when she swerved to miss a deer and lost control of her vehicle, striking a ditch. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Alissa A. Writghtsel was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of theft.

– Shannon W. Schwalbauch was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of possession of heroin and possession of cocaine.

July 28

– A resident in the 23000 block of Eisenhower Drive reported his grandson had been taking items from his home for the past several weeks. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 12000 block of Clark’s Run Rd., New Holland, reported an unknown suspect broke into her residence while she was away and took several items. A report was taken on burglary.

– Deputies responded to a break-in at Sally’s Beauty Supply on Circleville Plaza Drive. Deputies determined nothing was missing from the store. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 12000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 600 block of Victory Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 7900 block of High Street, Orient. Everything checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person at the Clark’s Lake ball field, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 20000 block of London Road, Circleville.

July 29

– An employee at Fastenal on U.S. Route 23 reported someone broke into the business and took cash. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.

– An employee from Power Parts Power Equipment on U.S. Route 23 reported someone broke into the business, but nothing appeared to have been taken. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 21000 block of Bolender Pontius Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 12000 block of Clark Drive, Orient.

– John Haimerl, 64, of Williamsport, advised he was traveling northeast on McLean Mill Road and approached a single-lane bridge. When he stopped to let a vehicle pass, a wood board from the rear of a truck struck his driver’s side mirror. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip accident.

– Dalton Fox, 21, of Laurelville, was cited for failure to control when he vehicle went off the roadway on Tarlton Adelphi Road and rolled over. No injuries were reported.

July 30

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 400 block of East Street, Williamsport.

– Thomas Cook, 33, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on Florence Chapel Pike. No injuries were reported.
