Oby D. Tisdale, 74, of Richmond, Indiana, formerly of Laurelville, passed away July 17, 2015, in his home.
He was born May 5, 1941, in Laurelville, to Herbert and Fay Wiggins Tisdale and lived in Richmond for the last 20 years.
He retired from Miller Pipeline and was a member of First Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Shirley; three children, Marlin and Darcy Tisdale, Darlene and Al Hill and Oby Lee Tisdale, all of Laurelville; four granddaughters; 11 brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the First Southern Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Goodson. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, 222 N. 10th St., Richmond, Indiana 47374.
