Cody Daniel Stewart, 9, of Circleville, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
He was born on June 8, 2006, in Chillicothe, to Scott and Carrie (Campbell) Stewart.
Cody is survived by his parents; sisters, Bria Campbell and Kinzie Stewart; maternal grandparents, Dan and Cheryl Campbell; paternal grandparents, Jim and Linda Stewart; great-grandmother, Imogene “New Grandma” Campbell; nephew, Daniel Royster; aunts and uncles, Jennifer “Aunt GiGi” Young, Becky (Jim) Bishop, Jimmy (Donna) Stewart, Tim (Lisa) Stewart, Greg (Eric) Jenkins and Chris Stewart; and by numerous cousins and other family.
He loved fishing with his daddy and playing Super Mario games. After his accident, he loved his Tom and Jerry, SpongeBob and Looney Tunes movies. He loved Brutus Buckeye and said, “He was his favorite football player.” He was mommy’s best friend, and she will miss taking care of him every day, and his sister Bria was one of his biggest heroes.
The family would like to thank all those who have cared for Cody over the past four years since his accident, especially Amber Large, RN.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Logan Elm Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Cavanaugh officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wellman Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Hitler Ludwig Cemetery.
