Thomas H. Melvin

Thomas H. Melvin, age 64, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 8, 2015.

Tom was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales and MATA Technical Institute and for over 30 years the Branch Manager of Triangle Fastener Corporation.

Tom was born in Circleville on Nov. 10, 1950, to the late Robert and Dolores McAllister Melvin.

He is survived by his “little” Italian bride of 40 years, Francine (Melaragno) Melvin; his loving children, Molly (Randy) Cook and Peter (Melissa) Melvin; and his cherished grandchildren, Maggie and Colin. Also surviving are siblings, Rosemary (Thomas) Williams, Robert (Sandy) Melvin, Rita (Donn) Rosselet and William (Mary) Melvin; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Regina (Thomas) Readd, Gina Melaragno and Gene (Amy) Melaragno; uncle, Ron Melvin; and a large extended family of many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as longtime friends, Gary, Jimmy and Lorn.

Calling hours will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St., Worthington. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at St. Brendan the Navigator Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard. Burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lockbourne, will occur at a later date.
