Carolyn Ann Nungester, 69, of Murray City, passed away June 21, 2015, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 4, 1946, in Laurelville, the daughter of Wilbur and Lula Belcher Clark.

She married Charles Albert Nungester Sr. in 1965 and remained faithfully by his side until his passing in 2000.

Carolyn enjoyed spending her days with her friend, Sharon Koon, cooking and conversing with all her wonderful friends at the Murray City Senior Center. She also enjoyed her Bingo nights with two of her dearest friends, Peggy and Meechy, as well as the talks she would have with her special friend, Kay Six.

Surviving are sons, Charles Jr. of Murray City, Craig (Serena) of Murray City, Chad (Michelle) of Sarasota, Florida, and Casey (Lori) of Carbon Hill; and a daughter, Charla (Jake) Fravel of Murray City; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Anita (Bob) Rolland; brothers-in-law, Norman Buchanan and Roy Nungester; and sisters-in-law, Judy Queen, Martha Hutchinson, Dorothy (Don) Roe and Norma (Beecher) Poling.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by sisters, Marvene Buchanan and Bertha Gordon; and brother, Clovis.

Funeral services and burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Pleasant Hill Church and Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home in Murray City.
