June 19

– A caller reported a known female subject was at the pub in the area of the 100 block of North Scioto Street and was drunk. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– An employee from City School Student Services reported a juvenile walked away from the transport vehicle, and they were unable to reach his mother. The school representative arrived at the residence and took the juvenile to school.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Franklin Street reported a known subject was causing a disturbance at the residence. A report was taken.

– A Stoutsville resident called 911 to request someone meet her at the doors of the Berger Hospital emergency room when she brought in a male with a severe arm laceration. The emergency room staff was notified.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Washington Street reported finding a syringe at the corner of South Washington and East Mound Street. Officers located and disposed of the item.

– An employee at Rural King reported a male subject was in the store advising he parked his vehicle in the lot the night before and it was gone. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle.

– A caller reported a lift from the back of a truck had been left at the entrance to Pickaway Crossing beside Pizza Cottage. Officers were unable to locate the item.

– A Lancaster resident reported a known male subject stole prescription medication from her car while she was giving him a ride. A report was taken on theft.

– Renee Rittenhouse was arrested for theft from Dollar General following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Main Street.

– Brian E. Martin was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication at Speedway on North Court Street.

– An officer responded to reports of a theft of items from a garage in the 400 block of North Court Street.

– A caller reported a known female subject was back at the Main Street Pub possibly causing problems, and she requested an officer make contact and advise her to keep her distance from the caller’s son. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue reported she could hear someone talking in the back yard of her residence. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Rustic Drive reported someone threw a glass plate through the back door of her recreation room and shattered the glass. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– A caller reported there were several subjects on the playground at Trinity Lutheran Church even though the playground was closed. Contact was made with the keyholder to secure the gates.

– A resident called 911 to report her brother assaulted her boyfriend in the 200 block of Huston Street and she was tired of him getting away with it. She then advised she would handle the problem herself and hung up. Officers made contact and advised the scene checked OK. The issue was a custody dispute involving the caller’s children.

June 20

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Hardee’s on West Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident on McCullough Avenue reported her 16-year-old daughter left the residence to stay with a friend, and she later found out she was with a male subject in Chillicothe. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– Christopher M. Rogers of Ashville was arrested for assault at the Main Street Pub on West Main Street.

– Officers responded to reports of several suspicious people in a driveway between Clinton Street and the rear of the PICCA building. A juvenile female was transported back to her residence on Eva Drive, and a report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile in the 300 block of South Scioto Street. The subject checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Francene Court reported she had all her doors and windows closed and still could hear someone fighting and arguing in the area. The officer advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported his 16-year-old daughter was refusing to come home in the 400 block of East Union Street. The juvenile was located and contact was made with her mother, who was the custodial parent, and she came to pick her up. A report was taken on miscellaneous.

– Dispatchers received a call from the 200 block of Logan Street in which they could hear a female screaming and then the phone disconnected. Officers advised a male subject left the residence prior to their arrival, and a report was taken on domestic violence.

– Officers responded to an injury accident in the 100 block of Nicholas Drive.

– A resident in the 300 block of Avon Drive reported someone had egged her vehicle. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 400 block of Faye Avenue. Officers determined it was a juvenile playing with the phone.

– Officers responded to an inaudible 911 call from the 400 block of East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a possibly suicidal person at the Budget Host Inn on U.S. Route 23. The subject checked OK.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Union Street reported she received a phone call from someone claiming to be the IRS who told her she was going to be sued by the agency. Officers determined it was a scam and advised the resident to ignore the message.

– Extra patrol was requested at U.S. Route 22 East at state Route 56 East and Mingo Street due to vehicles constantly blocking the intersection while trying to beat the light.

– A resident in the 100 block of Lowery Lane called 911 to report an active physical altercation between his adult brother and teenage sister. Officers advised there was no sign of assault or injury, and the male opted to leave for the evening. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a loose, aggressive black shepherd mix dog in the alley that was trying to get through the fence, and the caller believed it was trying to go after children. When officers arrived, the dog was in the custody of its owner, who was advised of leash laws.

– A caller reported finding a bicycle on the bridge sidewalk in the 400 block of Nicholas Drive. A report was taken on found property.

– A resident in the 400 block of Abernathy Avenue reported he received a phone call advising someone would be coming to his residence to pick up a package. The officer advised it was probably a prank call, but the resident should call if anyone showed up at his home.

– A caller in the 100 block of Harrison Street reported a male subject came in trying to sell a laptop, then concealed the laptop in a brown bag and left westbound with two other males. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive reported juveniles fishing at Heritage Ponds despite “no fishing” signs posted. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A resident in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street reported a “deathly ill” cat at her property. The humane society advised the caller to take the animal to North Court Animal Clinic for evaluation.

– An employee of Kroger on Lancaster Pike reported the theft of six cases of beer from the store. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle, and a report was taken on theft.

– A resident came to the police station requesting an officer speak to her son who was assaulted at CVS on June 18. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to a neighbor dispute in the 600 block of Elm Avenue. Both parties were advised of disorderly conduct, and a report was taken.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Mill Street reported a vehicle kept driving past the house and its occupants were yelling racial slurs at her husband. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 700 block of South Court Street reported he allowed a male subject to stay at his apartment for a night, but now the male was refusing to remove his belongings. Subjects were advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported a male was walking in the area of the old NAPA store on East High Street, and he was threatening and provoking her husband. Officers were unable to locate the subject, and extra patrol was requested.

– A resident reported juveniles riding bicycles in the roadway in traffic at Walnut and South Court streets. The juveniles were located and advised to stay out of the roadway. Their parents also were advised.

– A resident in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive reported juveniles fishing in the ponds. The officer spoke with the juveniles and their parents, who advised they would contact Rockford Homes because the signs posted were conflicting.

– A caller reported she drove by a home in the 100 block of Mingo Street, and there were two small dogs on the roof of a house. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 900 block of Circle Drive reported a unknown female was parked across the street and had been there more than an hour. The officer advised the female was taking a nap and checked OK.

– Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a large fight at the Main Street Pub on West Main Street. A second 911 caller reported a male was lying on the sidewalk unconscious with a head laceration. A medic was dispatched and transported the subject to the emergency room. A report was taken on a fight.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Main Street reported a vehicle parked in the driveway of a neighbor’s house and people were by the camper. The subjects checked OK and showed proof of permission to be at the residence.

– A female juvenile previously reported missing from McCullough Avenue was located, and officers removed her from the LEADS system.

– An employee of Bamboo House on North Court Street reported someone was behind the building trying to steal the air conditioning unit. Officers could find no damage to the unit and did not locate anyone in the area. Extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported someone was setting off fireworks in the area of Barnes Avenue and South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Officers responded to activated alarms at Tractor Supply on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

June 21

– A resident in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street requested an officer check the area after someone was pounding on her front door. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A caller reported finding a purse beside the steps at Mound Street school. An officer took a report on found property.

– Shaine C. Parsons was arrested in the area of North Pickaway and East High streets after officers responded to reports of a fight in the area. Parsons had a warrant from the Lancaster Police Department and took off running from officers when they arrived. A taser was deployed, and Parsons was taken into custody. A report was taken on obstructing.

– A caller reported a male subject lurking around his aunt’s house in the 400 block of Watt Street. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A resident in the 100 block of Rosewood Avenue reported someone broke a window in the back door of her residence, and she was not sure if anyone had gotten into the house or not. Officers checked the scene, and a report was taken on criminal damage.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the drive-thru at Tim Hortons on U.S. Route 23. Officers determined it was accidental.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Court Street reported he believed his computer had been hacked. He was referred to a professional computer repair company.

– A caller reported an older woman walking in the middle of North Pickaway Street, and she was concerned for her safety. Officers were unable to locate the female.

– Officers responded to multiple manually-activated fire alarms at Tractor Supply on U.S. Route 23. The fire department was dispatched and handled the scene.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at Speedway on Lancaster Pike.

– A resident in the 900 block of Circle Drive reported a female subject was still parked near his residence after an earlier call. The subject checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Clark Drive. The scene checked OK.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a subject in the 200 block of West Water Street. The officer advised the subject’s vehicle was at the residence but no contact was made, and upon follow-up, the vehicle was gone. No report was taken.

– A resident came to the police station to report he used the ATM machine at Fifth-Third Bank, and the machine never dispensed any money but the amount was deducted from his account. The caller was referred to the bank’s customer service department and advised to follow up with the branch the following business day.

– A caller reported he accidentally set off an alarm at Everts Middle School and was in the process of resetting it. Information was obtained, and the caller advised he would have maintenance personnel check the system.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Parklawn Drive following a mobile home fire handled by the Circleville Fire Department.

– A resident in the 100 block of West Mound Street reported her roommate had been stealing her mail. Officers advised it was a civil matter.

– A caller reported a possibly drug-related incident at Speedway on North Court Street. Information was obtained, and officers were advised.

– A 911 caller reported a vehicle fire in the area of South Pickaway and East Franklin streets. The Circleville Fire Department handled the scene.

– A caller reported an active fight in the 300 block of South Scioto Street. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller reported a known female kept falling off a motorcycle in the area of Clinton and East Mill streets. Officers made contact with two subjects, who both denied being on the motorcycle and had no signs of injury. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported the car wash in the 1100 block of North Court Street had severely damaged several cars. The officer taped off the defective wash bay, and a message was left for the owner. A report was taken on a civil matter.

– An employee at the city pool at Ted Lewis Park reported a female subject in the pool yard acting “odd.” The subject checked OK.

– A caller reported a male was kicking a vehicle with a female and child inside in the alley near the 200 block of West Union Street. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 800 block of Maplewood Avenue reported receiving threatening calls from a known male subject. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 600 block of Clinton Street reported his neighbor came onto his property attempting to start a fight. The officer reported the subject was slightly intoxicated, and he was instructed to stay inside and leave the caller alone.

– Extra patrol was requested in the area of the Ohio Market due to a large group of juveniles loitering in the area and possibly responsible for damage.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported someone was knocking on the windows of the residence. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A caller reported the neighbor’s smoke alarm was going off in the 500 block of Nicholas Drive, and she was unable to get anyone to answer the door. Officers made contact with the apartment maintenance worker, who requested an officer stand-by while he made entry into the apartment. The scene checked OK, and a door hanger was left at the residence to advise the officer had been there.
