June 15

– A resident in the 400 block of Half Avenue reported a known male subject was threatening to kill him. The officer determined it was an issue on social media. No report was taken.

– Kenneth Duncan was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication after a caller reported a male subject walking down the middle of the roadway on Route 188 east of Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park.

– A 911 caller reported a male subject lying in the grass near the railroad tracks at Harrison Avenue and South Scioto Street. A medic was dispatched, and the subject checked OK. He advised he took his night medication and went for a walk, then fell asleep at the location.

– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported someone was messing with the door handle of her apartment. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A resident in the 300 block of John Street reported smoke coming from the stove. The fire department was dispatched and handled the scene.

– A caller advised he saw two younger males standing on a porch in the 300 block of East Union Street holding what appeared to be guns. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Pickaway Street reported a tree branch fell onto their vehicle, causing damage. A report was taken on property damage.

– An employee at Eye Specialists on U.S. Route 23 reported someone had accessed their roof. No damage or theft was discovered, but a report was taken on criminal mischief. Extra patrol was requested.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 1500 block of Atwater Avenue. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– An employee at Brooks Yates school on South Pickaway Street reported a broken window. A report was taken on vandalism.

– A resident in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported the theft of a purse and a rifle from a vehicle overnight.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Third Avenue and South Pickaway Street.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 200 block of North Court Street.

– An officer marked out with a vehicle parked the wrong direction in the 200 block of North Court Street. The vehicle was impounded.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Mound Street reported some items were stolen from his vehicle overnight. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at Sheffield at Sylvan reported the same juvenile turned off power to a portion of the complex again overnight.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Franklin Street reported receiving harassing phone calls from someone accusing her of hitting someone’s vehicle and leaving the scene. The calls were determined to be from a prank caller.

– A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. reported someone had put orange cones out in the roadway in an attempt to save a parking space on the street. Officers determined the cones had been placed there by a utility company replacing a pole.

– Extra patrol was requested in the area of Crites Road and South Washington Street after a resident came to the police station to report a known subject revving his engine and blowing his horn constantly in an ongoing situation. Information was obtained.

– A caller from Lighthouse Baptist Church requested extra patrol due to people breaking windows in the building at 1250 S. Court St. throughout the night.

– A resident in the 400 block of Ruth Avenue filed a complaint with the city service director stating she called about noise coming from a neighboring residence and was told by officers that nothing could be done. A report was taken on a noise complaint.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of West Main Street. The alarm company canceled the call.

– An employee from Eye Specialists on U.S. Route 23 reported two suspicious males walking toward the rear of the old RCA building. The subjects checked OK.

– Bradlee Briggs was arrested for an outstanding warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia at Rural King on U.S. Route 23.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a purse she found at Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken on found property.

– A resident in the 800 block of Kingston Court reported her 17-year-old son was tearing things up inside the home. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– A resident in the 200 block of West Huston Street reported his apartment had been broken into. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– Officers responded to numerous reports about a vehicle that struck another vehicle on East Main Street and left the scene. The suspect was located in the alley north of Main Street in the 300 block. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

– A 911 caller reported a female and children were in a vehicle at the Ohio Market on East Ohio Street, and there was a male outside kicking the vehicle and yelling. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle on Clinton Street, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Montclair. The homeowners advised it was accidental.

– A resident in the 200 block of Town Street reported a cut screen on the rear of his home. Extra patrol was requested, and information was obtained.

– A resident came to the police station to report she saw a group of juveniles playing on the playground behind Trinity Lutheran Church, and a teenager slapped a younger child. All units were advised to be on the lookout.

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported she found a pipe on her 14-year-old son, so she smashed it with a hammer, and then a 17-year-9old male approached her stating she owed him $30 for the item. A report was taken, and the pipe was determined to be a vapor cigarette.

– A 911 caller reported her brother had damaged her car door in the 500 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Court Street reported she had a protection order against a subject who was just released from prison, and a neighbor saw him standing across the street staring at her residence. The neighbor advised he wasn’t sure if it was the person or not. Information was obtained for future reference.

– Officers responded to several reports of a deer running loose in the area of Everts Middle School on South Court Street. Information was obtained.

– A caller reported a subject in a vehicle was driving recklessly on Atwater from Route 188 and acted like he wanted to race. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A 911 caller reported a fight at the Main Street Pub on West Main Street. The officer requested a squad for a subject with injuries from an assault. The subject was transported to the hospital, and a report was taken.

– An employee at Rooster’s on U.S. Route 23 reported someone had just urinated on a customer’s car and was then refusing to leave. The male left prior to the officer’s arrival. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.
