– An employee at Berger Hospital reported a female in the emergency room who stated she got off work at BW3 and stopped at the Ohio Market, where a male knocked her down and stole her tip money and wallet. A report was taken on robbery.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of Barnes Avenue after a resident reported someone was trying to break into his jeep.

– Officers performed a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle after a caller reported a male and female trying to break into a trailer on Detroiter Avenue. A report was taken on consent to search.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Berger Hospital. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 600 block of Mound Street reported her briefcase had been stolen from her vehicle overnight.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported two male juveniles were in the driveway of a rental property and refusing to leave. The juveniles were not on the property when officers arrived.

– A resident in the 1000 block of Ridge Drive reported all of the lug nuts on his car tires had been loosened. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 500 block of Douglas Drive. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– An officer requested the service department to the scene of a damaged sign at South Pickaway and Logan streets. The damaged detour sign was the property of Norfolk Southern, who would send a crew to check on it.

– A resident in the 100 block of Gale Court reported threats against her on Facebook from a known subject. A report was taken.

– A 911 caller reported finding crack pipes and syringes along the railroad tracks near Little Bear Market. A report was taken on found property.

– An anonymous caller reported a nuisance complaint against a van parked in the back yard in the 1200 block of Norfolk Avenue that was full of trash. The owner was contacted and advised to remove the vehicle within 48 hours.

– The Hillsboro Police Department requested officers make contact with a subject in the 300 block of East Union Street regarding a bad check case. Officers were unable to locate the address.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Court Street reported her vehicle tires were slashed overnight. A report was taken on vandalism.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of East Franklin Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at Barthelmas Park.

– A caller requested a well-being check on his daughter, who had left the residence in his truck and had not returned. A report was taken.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of South Scioto Street. The subject checked OK and advised it stemmed from a custody dispute.

– A resident in the 300 block of John Street reported a neighboring residence had very high grass and a snake had been seen in the yard. A report was taken on a nuisance complaint.

– A New Holland resident reported his wife lost her purse while in the maternity ward at Berger Hospital, and someone turned it in but there was money missing. A report was taken.

– While on another call, an officer was advised of an incident in which a dog bit another dog in the 300 block of John Street. The resident would call if he needed assistance after contacting the other party.

– A caller in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported the property owner would not let her in the house but had not evicted her. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 800 block of South Scioto Street reported she had an altercation with a female subject who speeds up and down the roadway yelling. The other female had already left the scene, and officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of Villa Drive reported money missing from her bank account. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident came to the police station to report his vehicle window was busted overnight. A report was taken on vandalism.

– A resident in the 400 block of Stella Avenue reported someone stole a bicycle from his residence. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 800 block of Kingston Court. The subject checked OK.

– A male subject was transported to Berger Hospital for evaluation of suicidal threats after a traffic stop on East Ohio Street.

– A Stoutsville resident reported a coyote running loose at the rear of the Frontier building near Sutherlands. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident in the 1000 block of South Court Street came to the police station to report damage to his front door, possibly from an assault that recently occurred.

– A resident in the 300 block of Barnes Avenue reported neighbors were arguing in the front yard. Officers advised it was disciplinary between a father and son, who were advised to keep it down.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a set of keys found in the 300 block of Avon Drive. A report was taken on found property.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Pickaway Street reported two pit bulls came out of the woods onto his property, and he claimed they may be aggressive. The dog warden was advised.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Franklin Street reported two known subjects were arguing. The officer advised they were talking loudly and were advised to keep it down.

– A report was taken on resisting arrest after officers were involved in a foot pursuit with Jacob Conner in the back lot of the police station and running toward East Union Street.

– A resident on McCulloch Avenue reported she had been choked by a known male subject. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident on Tower Court reported kids were setting off firecrackers at a neighboring apartment. The officer advised multiple people were setting off fireworks, and they were all advised.

– A resident in the 100 block of Stihl Avenue reported a strange odor coming from the residence. The officer advised it was a skunk.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Watt Street. The keyholder advised everything was OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported hearing explosions or gunshots from a nearby residence, and then smoke was coming from the home and several people were running toward Crites. The fire department was dispatched, and the officer advised everything checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Court Street reported a diesel truck kept driving up and down the road and “blowing smoke” at him. The officer advised the driver of his behavior.
