May 27

– A deputy responded to the 5000 block of Dietrich Avenue, Orient, to assist the Scioto Township EMS. The subject was treated and transported to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 3000 block of state Route 316, Ashville. The property was secure.

– A deputy and the canine unit Marko assisted with a traffic stop on West Mound Street, Circleville, on a free air narcotic search.

May 28

– A resident in the 12000 block of Spangler Road reported someone stole items from his home. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 200 block of Main Street, Williamsport, reported an unknown person stole a vehicle from her residence. The vehicle was located on Yankeetown Pike east of Clarks Run Road in a ditch. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at the Pilot gas station on U.S. Route 23 reported they received a counterfeit $20 bill. A report was taken.

– Robert M. Witt Jr., 46, of Lockbourne, was arrested for assault in the 10000 block of State Route 762 East, Lockbourne, after a victim stated Witt hit him several times.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a subject trespassing in the 13000 block of state Route 104, Ashville. The subject was warned and left the scene.

– A deputy responded to a disabled vehicle on state Route 56 West at U.S. Route 22. No one was located at the scene. The vehicle was towed by Fletcher’s.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a vehicle damaging a guardrail on Clarks Run Road at Yankeetown Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a pursuit from Ross County coming into Pickaway County with the use of stop sticks.

– Carla Newman, 49, of Stoutsville, struck a deer while traveling on Goodman Road.

– Anthony Raynard, 54, of Mesquite, Texas, was cited for failure to control after he lost control of a semi and struck a guardrail on Clarks Run Road. No injuries were reported.

– David Ramey, 49, of Circleville, was cited for failure to control when he went off the roadway on London Road, striking a tree and impacting a barn. No injuries were reported.

– Kristi Hupp, 21, of Laurelville, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 56.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unknown driver striking a mailbox and coming to rest in a corn field on Yankeetown Pike. A report was taken on a a hit skip-accident.

– Martha Livingston, 59, of Ashville, was cited for failure to control when her vehicle struck a utility pole on Duvall Road. No injuries were reported.

– Jacob R. Savage, 24, was arrested on the original charges of burglary and theft.

– Teddy H. VanHorn Jr., 39, was arrested for contempt of court for failure to pay child support.

– Michael P. Moore, 41, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of nonsupport of dependents.

– Deanna L. Wallace, 42, was arrested for a violation of probation for the original charge of attempted possession of drugs.

May 29

– A deputy responded to reports of trash dumping in the 5000 block of Airbase Road, Ashville. The reportee stated two juveniles were seen dumping trash items at the abandoned Rickenbacker Golf Course. The juveniles were advised to load up the trash and take it to the trash dump.

– A deputy responded to the 200 block of South Main Street, Williamsport, on a domestic dispute. There were no signs or allegations of physical violence.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 6000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Williamsport. A message was left with the property owner.

– A deputy responded to reports of trespassing in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling. A verbal warning was given not to be on the property, and the subjects left the area.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4000 block of state Route 361, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 9000 block of Tarlton Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 2000 block of Duvall Road, Lockbourne.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of South Main Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a hit-skip accident on Canal Road in which an unknown driver left the roadway and became stuck in the mud in the canal, then left the scene.

– Kevin Hale, 24, of Milpitas, California, advised he was able to stop for a red light on U.S. Route 23 but had entered the intersection. When he began backing up, he struck a vehicle driven by James Lindsey, 41, of South Euclid. No injuries were reported.

– Tracy Andrews, 48, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on Rickenbacker Parkway.

– Oberlin Houghtlen, 44, of Mt. Sterling, advised a vehicle came left of center into his lane on Hayesville Road, and when he swerved to avoid it, he went off the road, swiping a telephone pole.

– Larry F. Johnson, 35, was arrested for failure to appear for original charge of domestic violence.

May 30

– A caller in the 10000 block of Matville Road, Orient, reported he and his girlfriend were in a domestic argument. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

– Amanda Saltz, 34, of New Holland, was arrested for a probation violation in the 100 block of Hamilton Ave., New Holland, after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and found her to be intoxicated.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of Hayesville Road, Kingston.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint in the 13000 block of Carson Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to reports of telephone harassment in the 5000 block of Fairfield Road, Orient.

– Natalie Hairston, 18, of Columbus, advised she attempted to merge into the left lane on U.S. Route 23 and struck a vehicle driven by Christopher Bankes, 20, of Grove City. No injuries were reported.

– Bryan Roberts, 21, of Mt. Sterling, was cited for failure to control when he advised he fell asleep and went off the roadway on U.S. Route 62, striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

– Virginia Echard, 75, of Circleville, reported she backed into a vehicle driven by Ronald Stotridge, 24, of Chillicothe, in the parking lot at Walmart. No injuries were reported.

– Lisa Frock, 52, of Circleville, struck a vehicle driven by Jamie Hawk, 46, of Kingston, in the parking lot on Pittsburgh Road. No injuries were reported.

– Richard Vangundy, 47, of Tarlton, advised someone ran out in front of his vehicle on U.S. Route 23, and when he swerved to miss them, he lost control of his vehicle, going into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

– Chad E. Ingles, 43, was arrested for a violation of probation for the original charge of domestic violence.

May 31

– Bethany Anne Campbell, 26, of Mooresville, North Carolina, was arrested for criminal mischief, obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia at the Relax Inn on U.S. Route 23 after a caller reported she was yelling and screaming and had broken a flower pot on a car.

– France H. Crites, 66, of Ashville, was arrested for assault in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 23 after a caller reported she pushed him during a discussion about his daughter, who was renting from her.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Kanawha Drive, Orient, reported her husband assaulted her. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 7000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville, reported someone removed two small safes from her residence that contained medication. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 300 block of Shasta Drive, Circleville, reported she woke up to find the glass in her back door was shattered, but nothing appeared to be missing. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 300 block of Apache Drive reported his 13-year-old son was being unruly. A report was taken.

– Cody M. Cornwell, 21, of Circleville, was arrested for theft and a probation violation following a theft at Walmart.

– A caller reported he was intentionally struck by a vehicle in the 13000 block of South Perry Road, Kingston. No charges were filed.

– Allee S. Toles, 36, of Mt. Sterling, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest after a resident in the 13000 block of Tenny Road reported she used her vehicle without permission. When confronted, Toles reportedly tried to run.

– A deputy performed a well-being check at Deercreek Dam Days. The Fayette County Squad 777 and 778 responded to the scene, and the subject was transported to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 16000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling. The deputy advised all parties it was a civil matter.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville. Contact was made with all parties involved.

June 1

– Matthew R. Heinlein, 22, of Orient, was arrested for unlawful restraint in the 12000 block of McKinley Road, Orient, after a female reported she and her son were being held against their will in Heinlein’s vehicle, and he would not let her out until she gave him money.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 500 block of Sycamore Drive, Circleville. Contact was made with the homeowner, who advised it was accidental.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 25000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville. The deputy spoke to all parties, and the subject left the scene.

– A deputy reported to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office to take a report on a complaint on vehicles parked in the 15000 block of state Route 56 East, Laurelville.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 2000 block of Kingston Pike, Circleville. Pickaway Township EMS transported the subject to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 2000 block of North Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 9000 block of McCord Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 25000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute on Yukon Drive, Orient. Contact was made with all parties involved.

– Austin Howard, 19, of West Portsmouth, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Donn Raines, 38, of London, on U.S. Route 23. No injuries were reported.

– Gordon Wagner, 28, of Amanda, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Carl Valentine, 42, of Circleville, and a vehicle driven by Bradley Bunch, 50, of Chillicothe, on Tarlton Road. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Kendra Hoffman, 31, of Circleville, was cited for OVI when she lost control of her vehicle on state Route 104. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Ernest J. Thomas, 52, was arrested for non-support of dependents.

– Martin A Harman, 35, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.
