May 20

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 5000 block of Valley Forge Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville.

May 21

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint in the 600 block of Swackhammer Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 23000 block of Morris Leist Road, Stoutsville.

– A deputy responded to a property damage accident on Winchester Road at state Route 188, Circleville.

– Michael L. Uhrig, 34, was arrested for failure to appear for the original charge of assault.

– Ben M. Conkle, 36, was arrested on the original charges of burglary, kidnapping and aggravated menacing.

– A resident in the 4800 block of Duvall Road reported in the past month, unknown subjects have entered into his residence and taken miscellaneous items, along with a lawn mower from his yard. A report was taken on burglary.

– Carmen H. Solis, 26, of Columbus, was arrested for possession of drugs scheduled III, IV, V, following a traffic stop in a parking lot at 23501 U.S. Route 23 after the deputy smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. A passenger was given a minor misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana.

May 22

– A deputy responded to a report of an unruly juvenile in the 16000 block of U.S. Route 23, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person at the Viking Ball Fields in Ashville. The subject left the ball field.

– Derek Binkley was arrested for a violation of probation on the original charge of possession of drugs.

– Andrew E. Swift was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on the charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity with specification, trafficking in cocaine with specification, trafficking in cocaine and three counts of trafficking in heroin.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient, reported she and her husband were receiving text messages about getting loans. A report was taken on attempted identity theft.

– A resident in the 6000 block of Cherokee Lane, Orient, reported he and his girlfriend were in a verbal dispute over missing pills from his truck which ended in the female hitting him in the face. No charges were filed, and there are no suspects in the theft.

– Kevin M. Scudder, 31, of Circleville, and Jessica J. Scudder, 31, of Circleville, were arrested in the 8000 block of Zane Trail Road for possession of drug abuse instruments.

– A resident in the 6000 block of Patriot Avenue, Orient, reported an unknown person stole a diaper bag out of her vehicle overnight. A report was taken on theft.

– Tricia D. Smith, 22, of Mt. Sterling, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a resident in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling, reported her sister was using her vehicle without permission.

– A resident in the 8000 block of state Route 316 reported his neighbors were threatening him for calling the dog warden on their dog. A report was taken on a neighbor dispute.

May 23

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 1400 block of South Court Street, Circleville. Everything checked secure.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 4300 block of Anderson Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 1400 block of South Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Cherokee Drive, Circleville. Contact was made with the homeowner, and the scene checked OK.

Patrick T. Bryant III was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on the charge of non-support of dependents.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Southern Point Blvd., Orient, reported someone had spray-painted a word on the side of a building. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Fairfield Road, Orient, reported her granddaughter left and had not returned to the residence. The subject later returned home.

– Paige L. Palmer was arrested on a warrant for the original charge of theft.

May 24

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 19000 block of Florence Chapel Pike, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of an animal bite in the 13000 block of state Route 56 East.

– A deputy responded to reports of a damaged vehicle at Musket Place and Patriot Avenue, Orient.

– A resident in the 8000 block of Ashville Fairfield Road reported someone took a washer and a chainsaw from inside the garage. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 18000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling, reported a known subject had hit her and thrown her out of her car, then left her there. A report was taken on assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

– Mindy Smith, 23 of Stoutsville, was arrested for tampering with evidence, possession of drugs scheduled III, IV, V, and petty theft at Walmart. Ricky L. Smith, 53, of Williamsport, also was arrested for petty theft in the same incident.

– A resident in the 16000 block of East Street, Orient, reported she was slapped by a family member. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

May 25

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 87000 block of Armstrong Road, Circleville. The subject checked OK.

– A deputy responded to Berger Hospital regarding a dog bite that occurred on Saltcreek Drive, Laurelville.

– A deputy responded to a fire in the 1400 block of Court Street, Circleville. There was minimal damage to old straw reported.

– Henry Noll, 53, of Mt. Sterling, was being towed due to his motorcycle breaking down when he lost control, hitting a guardrail. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Carroll Woods Jr., 38, of Washington Court House, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 207.

– Andrew R. Irwin was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

– Robert E. Rhodes III was arrested on a warrant for the original charge of theft.

– An employee at Evolution Ag on U.S. Route 23, Circleville, reported someone stole a Kubota RTV from the business. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.

– A deputy responded to reports of an argument in the 13000 block of Crownover Mill Road, Mt. Sterling. No charges were filed.

– Robert E. Rhodes III, 29, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart and on an active warrant for theft following reports of a shoplifter. The driver of his vehicle also will receive a summons for complicity.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 1900 block of Chickasaw Drive, Circleville.

May 26

– David E. Stafford was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on the original charge of attempted possession of drugs.

– Alex F. Blain, 20, of Orient, was arrested for domestic violence and assault in the 8000 block of Hollyhock Lane, Orient, after a caller reported his son had assaulted him.

– A resident in the 12000 block of Bulen Pierce Road, Ashville, reported an unknown person stole items from his truck while parked in the driveway. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 8000 block of Hollyhock Lane, Orient, reported he was issued a protection order from a previous domestic dispute, and the subject showed up at the residence even though he was restricted from doing so. The deputy attempted to arrest the offending subject, but the suspect fled.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 9000 block of Tarlton Road.

– A deputy responded to reports of a theft in progress on Morgan Road, Orient. The deputy determined it was a civil matter.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 7000 block of South Bloomfield Royalton Road, Ashville. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.

May 27

– A deputy responded to reports of a fire in an abandoned barn in the 1400 block of South Court Street. The fire department arrived and extinguished the fire.

– Jerry Holliday, 45, of Columbus, was arrested for disorderly conduct on U.S. Route 62 after a reported fight.

– A resident in the 14000 block of Crownover Mill Road, New Holland, reported he let a subject use his vehicle to go to an appointment, and the vehicle was not returned. It was later found abandoned on the roadway. Charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle are pending.

– Talisha Gaines, 31, of Circleville, reported she was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Joshua Stevens, 19, of Circleville, on South Court Street at Sperry Drive. No injuries were reported.

– Grant Clifton Sr., 46, of Circleville, was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus by Air Evac after his motorcycle struck a deer that ran out in front of him on U.S. Route 23.

– Carla Newman, 49, of Stoutsville, struck a deer while traveling on Goodman Road.

May 28

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 100 block of School Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 29000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville. The deputy determined it was a civil complaint.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 2000 block of Arapaho Drive, Circleville. The deputy met with the involved parties and found no sign of physical violence.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient. The subject left prior to the deputy’s arrival.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 8000 block of Harrisburg Road, Orient.

– Amanda L. Crosby was arrested on a violation of probation on the original charge of possession of cocaine.
