Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Jerrod R. Conner, 20, of Hayward Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and grand theft. He was sentenced to three years in state prison.

– Bryan J. Lutz, 31, of Fourth Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine and having weapons under disability. He was sentenced to seven years in state prison and a $363 forfeiture.

– Keely L. Martin, 21, of Fourth Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to two years in state prison.

– Scott A. Slagle, 45, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Mary Slutz-Young, 40, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine and illegal conveyance of items into a governmental facility. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– James N. Thacker, 45, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Catherine J. Young, 52, of Nicholas Drive, Circleville, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. She was sentenced to three years of intervention and 30 days in the county jail.
