The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Scott M. Browning, 44, of Bloomfield-Royalton Road, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to passing bad checks. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Tony L. Carmona, 21, of Adelphi, pleaded not guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Jill L. Crabbe, 38, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

– Daniel W. Evans, 38, of Tower Court, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Damien M. Ferrell, 37, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to a violation of community control. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Jerrel L. Fleming, 31, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to six months in state prison.

– Danesha L.N. Hayes, 20, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery and two counts of deception to obtain dangerous drugs. She was sentenced to three years of intervention, 30 days in the county jail and six months in a community-based correctional facility program.

– Trevell L. Jones, 23, of Grove City, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 16 months in state prison and a $2,500 fine.

– Tanner Kingery, 25, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to burglary. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Christy J. Lowery, 36, of Stella Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to burglary. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Erin S. McCarthy, 31, of Duvall Road, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to theft and breaking and entering. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Mark A. Melott, 28, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison and a $515 forfeiture.

– Tyler R. Moore, 20, of Oak Hill, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. He was sentenced to 24 months in state prison (suspended) and a three-year driver’s license suspension.

– Keith Mosley, 36, of Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Daniel P. Murnane, 33, of Wilmington, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– Michael A. Nichols Jr., 28, an inmate at the Warren Correctional Institution, Lebanon, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of items into a prison. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison.

– Sean M. Rooney, 41, of East Mill Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to disrupting public services and intimidation of a witness. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Sharon M. Scurlock, 36, of West Main Street, Tarlton, pleaded not guilty to having weapons under disability. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Kristy R. Smith, 39, of South Scioto Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to grand theft. She was sentenced to 16 months in state prison (suspended), $13,603 in restitution and five years of community control.

– Samuel M. Williams Jr., 38, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Brittany N. Blackburn, 26, of Galloway, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Christian T. Bray, 41, of Water Street, Tarlton, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and burglary. He was sentenced to six years in state prison.

– Laura J. Climer, 38, of Duvall Road, Ashville, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Amy R. Dean, 34, of Hilliard, pleaded not guilty to theft of a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Krista M. Giffin, 24, of Kingston Court, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

Gregory W. Kelly Jr., 23, of Clinton Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation. He was sentenced to four years in state prison.

Fred G. Koscik, 39, of Central Avenue, Williamsport, pleaded not guilty to three counts of robbery. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Dylan T. Lintz, 21, of West Ohio Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Jack B. Markwood, 36, of Lancaster, pleaded not guilty to theft. A pretrial hearing is set for June 9.

– Phillip G. Peters, 34, of Lancaster, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control and non-support of dependents. Community control was continued with the addition of the S.T.A.R. relapse program.

Guy M. Robbins, 64, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to burglary. He was sentenced to four years in state prison.
